Job Summary
Millwork Door Material Handler responsible for receiving doors from the door machine and prepping for delivery; manage orders to be completed on time; use a scan gun to check inventory and adjust material locations; select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps; inspect material quality; stand/walk/reach/lift repeatedly; communicate with department lead on progress; collaborate with warehouse team for 100% on-time deliveries; pick material using a stand/sit forklift as needed; and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or material handler experience preferred
- Comfortable learning to operate a forklift
- Able to lift 75+ lbs. comfortably
- Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
- Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Flexible in working overtime when necessary
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
