Job Summary
Load, pick, pack, ship, and receive products while operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks. Manage inbound items including bolts, cables, reels, and wires; perform cycle counting, tote induction, and truck loading/unloading. Handle daily paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading. Provide technical support for automated packing systems during core shift hours. Maintain accuracy in performance measurement guidelines and adhere to safety protocols. Work indoors and outdoors, lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25 - 50 % of the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to work both indoors and outside
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Must be punctual and have a good attendance record
- Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work using health and safety methods
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
