Job Summary
Receive and inspect incoming materials, verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists; operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move/store materials; update inventory records in the management system; collaborate with production to ensure timely material delivery; conduct regular inventory audits; assist with loading/unloading trucks; participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material handling efficiency; maintain safety and effective communication with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of warehouse/material handling experience
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Familiarity with inventory management and control processes
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including inventory software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols
