Material Handler, Returns (A-Shift)

Job Summary
Conduct receiving, stocking, processing returns, replenishing, packing, picking, and shipping to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Operate manual and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners to move products safely and efficiently. Handle delicate items like garments or shoes, ensuring proper condition and placement while adhering to department productivity standards and safety protocols. Inspect and process returned items for restocking, prepare products for shipment, and pull products from shelves based on customer orders. Maintain overall organization and safety of the distribution center by managing inbound receipts, product movement, and preparing goods for delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of six months of related experience in a distribution environment
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours daily
- Ability to lift to 35 lbs
- Must have English proficiency (speaking and understanding)
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and SOP documents
- Basic math skills
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in utilizing various types of warehouse equipment is a plus
- Manhattan Associates WMS knowledge preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships within the distribution center
- Strong attention to detail and the ability be consistent when entering information repetiously
