Material Handler - Receiving

Receive purchase and transfer orders, load and unload trucks, and process incoming freight while inspecting products for quality standards. Use wireless RF devices or desktop computers to perform bar code functions, including printing labels, putting away items, and conducting inventory lookups. Accurately apply labels, record received or distributed materials, and complete paperwork. Move and lift materials up to 100 lbs regularly, sort items on racks or pallets, and operate equipment such as sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by wearing required safety gear and participating in cycle counting. Work Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM with a high school diploma or GED required. Forklift, reach truck, and order picker certification or willingness to be certified is necessary.
