Job Summary
Coordinate inventory availability with Production and Procurement departments by receiving work order pre-pull material lists. Process received shipments to ensure materials meet purchase order specifications, comparing quantities and types against waybills, packing slips, and purchase orders. Unload parts and pick and package products for fabrication and detail departments while providing complete information on short, over, or damaged shipments. Notify supervisors of irregularities and when stock reaches re-order points, and assist with cycle and physical inventory counts. Must own transportation as the location is not accessible by public transit.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Proficient in identifying materials by dimensions (metric and imperial)
- Must have CSA approved safety boots
- Must be able to manually lift up to 50lbs
- Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Active forklift certification an asset
- Experienced with proper rigging and overhead crane use an asset
