Material Handler

Coordinate and support all materials and resins required to manufacture plastic injection molded products by mixing colorants with resins, delivering raw material to presses, and removing finished goods from the production floor. Retrieve different resin materials, mix thermoplastic materials and coloring pigment according to supplied formulas, and manually switch over materials used on machinery. Perform daily machine inspections, complete appropriate paperwork, and support the Molding Process Technicians with the operation of Battenfeld injection molding presses ranging from 65 to 720 tons. Execute mold changeover processes by cleaning dryers, loaders, and material bins, while issuing and returning materials through Epicor and maintaining barcode labels on transport bins. Move materials, supplies, and components between the warehouse and molding production area, contribute to keeping receiving and warehouse areas clean and organized, and recycle packaging materials. Operate a forklift or pallet jack to assist in loading or moving materials and products, completing administrative duties such as data entry and resolving minor issues. Work according to safety regulations at all times and report unsafe conditions immediately. This is a 1st shift position.
