Job Summary
Material Handler at Printpack’s Grand Prairie, TX Converting plant. Responsible for safe, efficient movement of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; maintain accurate inventory records; support production operations. Operates forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), performs safety inspections, loads/unloads trucks, stores/retrieves pallets, documents locations with handheld devices, stages materials per production schedules, moves WIP between locations, maintains 5S standards, and participates in Printpack’s Continuous Improvement Program. Requires forklift certification (or ability to obtain), basic computer skills, ability to read production schedules, and strong safety/documentation discipline. Night shift schedule: 7pm–7am on a 3/2 rotating basis with premium for night hours; location in Grand Prairie, TX. Must meet core values and pass pre-employment checks. Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Basic computer literacy
- Read and understand production schedules
- Basic math for inventory counting
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Safety protocol knowledge (OSHA)
- Documentation completion
- Hand-held scanner operation
- Time management
- Team-oriented mindset
