Job Summary
Operate powered industrial trucks and hand trucks to move, hoist, and unload packages from incoming trucks while verifying contents against order and invoices. Perform computer functions to track goods, receive shipments, sign paperwork, and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations. This role supports Custom Marine's manufacturing of marine and industrial components in Neenah, WI, requiring experience with ERP systems and quality documentation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as receiving/shipping clerk or similar position
- Experience in operating powered industrial trucks
- Self-starter, who can plan, prioritizes, manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Experienced working with computers and handling paperwork
- Understands and practices Quality System Requirements and documentation (e.g. applicable inspection, verification and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process)
- ERP system knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Basic math and reading skills are required
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
