Material Handler

Material Handler at POET in Chancellor, SD responsible for loading dried distillers' grains, ethanol, corn oil, wet cake feed, distiller’s syrup, or biomass into trucks and rail cars using mechanical equipment, meters, scales, and computers. May complete grading of grain products or biomass after training; operate heavy machinery and obtain DOT certification if required; maintain clean work area and adhere to confined-space procedures; perform preventative maintenance and assist with bioprocessing scale house software. Must be able to work outdoors, weekends, and holidays, with call-in and extended-hours as needed; safety, confidentiality, and environmental compliance emphasized; relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package offered.
