Job Summary
Load machines with tubing for cutting, move materials within the plant, yard, or work site using industrial trucks, and remove finished goods to the warehouse or cutting area. Verify quantities on inbound shipments, attach inventory control tags, and assist in locating tubing where tags are missing. Operate shrink wrap machines, electronic scales, and pneumatic banding tools as needed. Build boxes, prepare containers, and assist in the Shipping and Recut departments. Maintain a clean and organized work area. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, one to three months of related experience, and the ability to operate forklifts and side loaders. Completion of the company's Tow Motor Training courses is required.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Completion of the companys Tow Motor Training courses and successfully pass the evaluation
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
- an equivalent combination of education and experience
- The ability to operate forklifts and side loaders
