Job Summary
Material Handler for Evergreen Goodwill Part-time role responsible for unloading donations, moving goods to production areas, sorting salvage from donatable items, and maintaining a smooth flow of material to the production floor. Duties include sorting donations into bins, using cardboard compactors, maintaining donor tallies, and supporting safety practices. Occasional forklift operation may be required if certified to Seattle Goodwill standards. Must be 18+ with the ability to lift 30-40 pounds, communicate effectively, and work in an outdoor/warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Prior experience is not required; high school equivalency preferred. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in sorting, and customer-focused service in a nonprofit retail and donation setting.
