Material Handler- Panels 581 (2nd Shift)

Material Handler I in Panels 581 on 2nd shift distributes materials from receiving and storage to production, and from production to storage and shipping using hi-los, carts, and material handling equipment. Responsibilities include obtaining materials and establishing delivery sequences, processing and tracking supplies to maintain inventory levels, cleaning up scrap and trash, maintaining material levels in work centers, communicating shortages to supervisors, applying basic mathematics for counting and inventory, verifying quantities and material types, prioritizing work orders, inspecting hi-lo equipment for safety and functionality, performing daily safety checks, completing paperwork, assisting other departments, and contributing to process improvements with an emphasis on cost, quality, and delivery; all while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and supporting company programs and benefits.
