Material Handler, Packing (B-Shift)

Job Summary
Conduct receiving, stocking, and transfer of products including inbound receipts, managing product movement, and preparing goods for delivery. Operate manual and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners to move products safely and efficiently within the warehouse. Perform tasks including organizing materials, managing stock, unloading/loading shipments, and assisting in the warehouse as needed. Safely handle products, especially delicate items like garments or shoes, ensuring their proper condition and placement. Adhere to department productivity standards and safety protocols while completing other duties assigned. Prepare products for shipment, pull items based on customer orders, and process returns by inspecting goods and inputting data.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of six months of related experience in a distribution environment
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours daily
- Ability to lift to 35 lbs
- Must have English proficiency (speaking and understanding)
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and SOP documents
- Basic math skills
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in utilizing various types of warehouse equipment is a plus
- Manhattan Associates WMS knowledge preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships within the distribution center
- Strong attention to detail and the ability be consistent when entering information repetiously
