Job Summary
Operate warehouse handling equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, and roller ladders to move material to production lines. Utilize the OW system (4D) to research POs, receive shipments, run inventory reports, and apply product identification labels. Unload inbound freight, verify quantities against BOLs and packing lists, and deliver items to requesting production floor locations. Maintain equipment, generate departmental reports, and keep work areas organized while adhering to Oakworks safety and quality policies. Requires availability from 5:30am to 2:00pm with potential overtime. Prior forklift certification and traditional manufacturing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior forklift certification
- Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes with machining and fabricating experience
- Proficient computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Proficient organizational and time management skills
- Must be available during production hours from 5:30am to 2:00pm
- Ability to sit/walk/stand for extended periods of time on a daily basis
- Ability to lift/reach/bend/stretch in manufacturing environment
- Must be able to climb ladder heights of 20 feet
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time on a daily basis
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Mobility to effectively move and converse in all areas throughout the facility
- Ability to work in a repetitive, side to side motion throughout the shift
- Ability to handle and assemble small parts, requiring manual dexterity throughout the shift
- Ability to tolerate exposure to wood dust/products, lacquer, metal dust/products and metal processing products in a normal manufacturing environment
- Work in hot and cold environment with seasonally changing temperatures
- Must complete training plan to perform job requirements in a safe and consistent manner as specified by Quality Management System (QMS)
Desired Qualifications
- 2 Years work experience in Manufacturing or Specific
- Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes with machining and fabricating experience preferred
