Job Summary
Receive, unload, and load all materials including linen throughout the medical center. Operate manual and automatic jacks while ensuring proper care and prudent use of material handling equipment. Issue, record transactions for supplies and deliveries, and maintain accurate inventories by reporting shortages or overages. Process delivery carts through decontamination units, attach identification tags, and pack shipments as ordered. Adhere to scheduling of par locations and maintain an efficient, clean workplace. Perform other material duties as requested by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills required (Simple Sums)
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving and distribution strongly preferred
