Job Summary
Put away received incoming product, collect finished goods, and deliver materials to the shipping department and manufacturing production floor. Restock supermarket and department lineside racks while moving materials to work cells, trucks, and manufacturing areas. Fill requisitions, distribute items, and assist with preparation tasks like cutting, labeling, and un-packing raw materials. Assess component availability, alert team leaders to potential outages, and prepare finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, and unloading. Operate tow motors, lift assist equipment, and other power industrial equipment with necessary certification. Comply with safety rules, environmental management systems, and other duties as assigned by supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Warehouse/Material Handling experience
- related job aptitude (e.g., ability to troubleshoot and follow instructions)
- Experience following work instructions
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Basic Math Skills
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Prior experience working in a light industrial facility
- Capability of using tow motors, lift assist equipment and other warehouse equipment
- Some visual verification and manual dexterity
- Results-oriented and ability to learn the various material handling functions
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse/Material Handling experience preferred
