Job Summary
Material Handler at NOX Group (Nox Innovations) responsible for fabricating and assembling parts, handling materials, and supporting the construction industry. Responsibilities include operating fabrication machinery, reading and interpreting blueprints, performing quality checks, maintaining tools and safety standards, organizing materials, documenting work orders and inventory, troubleshooting fabrication issues, and performing general labor tasks including prefab-related duties and site housekeeping. Requires mechanical aptitude, basic math, familiarity with tooling and machinery, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing environment
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery
- Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted, frequently
- Ability to stand or be on your feet for long periods
- Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or mechanical environments (preferred)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in fabrication or welding advantageous
