Material Handler

A material handler ensures the material storage area is organized and fully stocked for production. Team members assist in unloading delivery trucks and verifying material on such trucks. Essential duties include operating a forklift to move materials, performing spot checks on incoming product for quality assurance, collaborating in a team to achieve production goals, unloading daily shipments, verifying materials against packing lists, keeping materials organized and accessible, maintaining clear aisles, moving material safely with and without an overhead hoist, differentiating material types used to build trailers, becoming familiar with ST numbers, stocking lines with necessary materials, performing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, pulling UPS/IBT shipments as needed, and assisting in other areas as assigned.
