Job Summary
Material Handler-Nights responsibilities include safely operating powered industrial trucks and related equipment to move materials, load/unload trailers, and transport products within the warehouse; use the warehouse management system (WMS) to record material movements; maintain accurate inventory; weigh materials and document on labels and production schedules; perform daily safety checks on equipment; keep work areas clean; contribute to continuous improvement to reduce costs or boost productivity without compromising effectiveness; and communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers while adhering to company policies and safety rules.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED, or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties.
- Must be able to obtain forklift license through Highline Warren.
- Experience with material handling machinery and warehouse operations is highly desirable.
