Job Summary
Material Handler at Coke Florida in Orlando (Night Shift, 7:00 PM–5:30 AM, 4 days/week; Sundays required). Responsible for fulfilling customer orders by retrieving and placing products onto conveyors, operating within a safe, efficient automated warehouse, and supporting team-based warehouse processes. Functions include case picking and sorting in an automated environment using computers/software, maintaining inventory to control shrink, monitoring lane Photo Eye alignments, and performing miscellaneous tasks to support operations. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read system instructions, and work in a fast-paced/hot/noisy environment with flexibility in scheduling; strong teamwork, adaptability across multiple work areas, and adherence to safety procedures are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior Warehouse experience preferred
- Knowledge acquired through 1-2 year of work experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting up to 50lbs
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes
- Easily transition between different work areas as needed throughout the workday
- Ability to read and interpret instructions from the system on the monitor screen
- Attention to detail and ability to differentiate our packages
- Ability to work in a noisy and non-climate controlled environment including high and low-temperature environment
- Intentional self-starter takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-add opportunities
- Flexibility in Scheduling is required as work hours are subject to change based on business demands
- This Role Is Extremely Physical and will require physical exertion including lifting 50 lbs repeatedly
- Standing and walking for long periods, able to walk 4 hours during the workday
- Frequent exposure to hot/humid indoor environment
