Material Handler

Job Summary
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and operating forklifts, walkie riders, and other material handling equipment to move parts to the production floor. Set up storage racks and bins for proper organization, create drop areas for deliveries, and support assembly technicians in lifting materials. Accurately count parts, file rejected items daily, and record shortage information for leadership while receiving work direction from the department leader. Requires valid driver's license, previous forklift experience, and ability to lift heavy materials in a fast-paced setting. Immediate benefit eligibility and on-the-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Previous employment with warehouse, shipping and receiving responsibilities and experience
- Must possess good written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and follow verbal and written directions
- Ability to thrive in busy, fast-paced production environment
- Ability to listen and be aware of shipping/receiving/production floor activity to support a safe and hazard free working environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials safely
- Valid driver's license
