Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in designated secure locations while issuing items to Work Orders via NetSuite. Collect and deliver supplies to production teams, palletize, shrink-wrap, and prepare materials for shipment. Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and report shortages or quality deficiencies to Materials Management. Operate forklifts with full safety adherence, including PPE and ESD protection, while disposing of scrap to ensure a clean environment. Collaborate with Production and Materials Control leadership to expedite materials and review shipment documentation for accuracy. This role supports TraffiCalm's production efforts by managing material flow and inventory integrity within Building 2, with training provided for forklift operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift certification
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to warehousing and material handling
- Comfortable with physical labor, including counting, lifting, and organizing materials
- Detail-oriented
- Self-motivated
- Dependable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
- Ability to operate heavy machinery with full adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to use PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.) and ESD protection when required
