Job Summary
Pull materials from inventory locations, package customer orders for shipment, and process them using automated or manual carrier shipping systems. Perform cycle counting of materials, replenish shipping supplies, and maintain bulk antibody inventory while receiving and recording returned goods. Update and maintain data within SAP, write and update SOPs, and evaluate current processes to provide improvement recommendations. Work extensively in cold rooms, sort orders, verify product pulls, and assist with international invoice processing. Maintain clean and orderly warehouse areas, follow EH&S policies, and notify supervisors of hazardous conditions or discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have good inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to follow established policies and procedures
- Basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide), read, write and clearly communicate verbally with associates
- Ability to routinely lift up to 35 pounds
- Typically requires a high school diploma
- 0-2 years' experience in materials distribution (shipping/receiving/inventory), or equivalent combination of related education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP and/or Lotus Notes a plus
- Shipping of temperature sensitive products is a plus
