Job Summary
Operate forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within a plant, office, or warehouse. Maintain records and adhere to clearly defined SOPs, scientific methods, and quality guidelines while working under general to limited supervision. Perform routine tasks using basic knowledge and skills within a metrics-driven environment, requiring lifting over 50 lbs and exposure to moderate to loud noise, extreme temperatures, and moving mechanical parts. Requires a high school diploma, zero to one year of warehouse experience, and basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment
- General computer skills
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
- Basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
- Ability to lift and/or move over 50 lbs
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, balance, climb, crouch, reach, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, twist, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, pick, or type
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and vibration
- Ability to work in high, precarious places
- Ability to work with fumes/airborne particles
- Ability to work in hot conditions (no AC) and cold conditions (limited heating)
- Ability to work in moderate to loud noise levels
- Ability to work under general to limited supervision
- Ability to work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods
- Ability to adhere to quality guidelines
- US Citizens Or GC Holders
