Job Summary
Operate forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the plant, office, or warehouse. Maintain records, verify labels on boxes against pallets, and scan items while adhering to clearly defined SOPs and quality guidelines. Perform routine tasks under general to limited supervision, including unloading trucks and stacking pallets, while obtaining or maintaining necessary licenses and certifications. Requires a high school diploma, zero to one year of warehouse experience, and ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations in a metrics-driven environment. Schedule includes 40 hours weekly on the 1st shift with pay ranging from $16 to $20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training
- Must be able to verify labels on boxes and matching to pallets
- Attention to detail is essential
- Scanning experience is needed
- Stand up forklift experience needed
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed
- Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment
- General computer skills
- Must be able to lift and/or move over 50 lbs
