Job Summary
Operate forklift and material handling equipment to receive, unload, and move lumber and building-materials; accurately record and update inventory in the warehouse management system; pick, pack, and label customer orders, and prepare shipments for delivery or pickup; perform cycle counts and assist with periodic inventory; inspect materials for quality and report issues; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area with adherence to PPE and safety protocols; assist in training new team members and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation
