Job Summary
Material Handler provides support to the packaging line(s) to ensure safety, quality and productivity goals are met. Responsibilities include maintaining housekeeping in the assigned area, inspecting materials for defects and removing non-conforming materials via non-conformance sheets, using BOMs and quality software to enter data, performing changeovers per BOMs, adhering to GMP and safety requirements, recording lot traceability, and contributing to team goals with proactive improvements. Requires wearing PPE, completion of required safety trainings, and ability to operate tools such as pallet jack and forklift; shift-based schedule including A shift (Sun–Tue, 7AM–7PM) with potential B/C shifts and a Thursday/overnight schedule as openings arise; minimum education of High School Diploma or GED; no prior experience required as training will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Data Entry skills
- Ability to use Master Controls and other basic computer skills
- Understand and follow Packaging Control Plan and Packaging Work Instruction
- Successfully complete annual quality/safety/HR/Department training
- Troubleshooting ability
