Job Summary
Prepare and deliver raw materials via forklift, pallet jack, or cart for efficient line operations, perform line clearance and set-up for changeovers, and replenish production lines with raw materials. Track related inventory using our inventory control system, preform QA on finished goods, and properly account for unused raw materials by returning them to inventory. Label boxes accurately according to customer specifications, organize raw material inventory based on job specifications and quantity, and track progress of job runs to avoid over-runs. Perform all other tasks directed by your supervisor, including duties of a Packaging Operator when deemed necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Understand that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance
- Adhere to all organizational safety practices including following appropriate procedures
- Wear all required PPE in designated areas
- Attention to detail regarding Quality Assurance
- Understand the basic operations within a production facility
- Able to track inventory
- Perform basic math calculations
- Report critical information to your supervisor
- Comfortable with using a ladder
- Capable of lifting boxes that weigh up to 40lbs
- Certified Forklift Operator, or able to pass certification upon arrival
- Previous experience w/ reach truck and cherry picker
