Material Handler

Rotate weekly to each established cell, stocking production lines with parts on a first-in-first-out basis and maintaining inventory preservation. Load and unload trucks, conveyors, and other equipment manually or with material handling devices, transporting materials between departments using hand trucks, forklifts, and hoist motorized conveyors. Read work orders for material movement, count or weigh items, label materials, and cycle count stock as requested by the supervisor. Restock lines at shift end, notify supervisors of deficiencies, and participate in recycling programs. Clean up battery acid spills, maintain cell areas, and comply with quality, environmental, and safety system requirements. Report all accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately.
