Job Summary
Material Handler at Magna Energy Storage Systems in Spartanburg, SC. Responsibilities include operating a forklift to load/unload materials, managing goods and movements in ERP, organizing and stocking material supplies for production in a JIT environment, and delivering material to production lines. Maintain 100%+ inventory accuracy by recording material movements in ERP, rotate materials to ensure FIFO, and uphold 5S and safety standards. Responsibilities also cover maintaining a clean warehouse, reporting maintenance issues on forklifts, and supporting plant-wide materials organization. Requires experience operating forklifts (3+ years), ERP/SAP familiarity, manufacturing/auto background, ability to stand 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds, and commitment to safety and PPE procedures. Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of forklift operating experience (prefer sit-downs and tugger trains)
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
- Flexibility in schedule to meet timeframes
- Ability to stand for 8 hours, perform lifting up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks (bending, squatting, reaching)
- Must observe PPE, safety guidelines, and inventory control procedures
- Maintain forklift certification and participate in update trainings as needed
