Job Summary
Material Handler responsible for ensuring materials for machine operators; operate forklift to load/unload designated trailers; move and store materials in warehouses; receive materials into inventory; pick, verify and stage orders for shipping; verify paperwork; deliver product to designated departments; palletizing and shrink-wrapping of loads; assist with warehouse cycle count; maintain safety and housekeeping; must be a team player; ideal candidates have forklift certification and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Forklift license (or ability to obtain license)
- Must successfully obtain certification in forklift driving
- Ability to operate a forklift according to OSHA guidelines
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
