Job Summary
Material Handler based in Portland responsible for supporting production, inventory and fulfillment operations.Responsibilities include picking, staging, and delivering raw materials and packaging components to kitting areas, operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks, staging/loading/offloading inbound/outbound shipments, verifying shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, picklists), using warehouse systems to track movements and update inventory, ensuring lot traceability and compliance with cGMP, FIFO/FEFO, and internal handling standards, and maintaining safe, organized workspaces in line with OSHA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months working in a food facility or controlled warehouse
- Minimum 6 months forklift experience with Forklift
- Familiarity with warehouse and inventory control systems (WMS)
- Understanding of cGMP, FIFO/FEFO, and safe material handling practices in a regulated warehouse environment
