Job Summary
Locate containers or folders on shelving up to 15 feet high, remove items, verify pull list accuracy, and report discrepancies. Place containers on streamliners, move records to the disposal review area, and palletize disposable records with labeling and shrink wrapping. Retrieve batched requests, scan documents by removing fasteners and verifying image clarity, and use a handheld mobile for data entry and box list creation. Transport records to assigned locations, validate manifests, and stage completed batches for auditing. This full-time role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and passing a background check and drug screen. You will work Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm at a warehouse serving the National Archives and Records Administration.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform in a labor-intensive environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 30 to 50 lbs. regularly
- Must be able to climb ladders to reach shelving up to 15 feet high
- May be required to successfully complete a drug screen
- Have the ability to pass a background check and receive a government security clearance
- This contract requires that all candidates are U.S. citizens
- Possess high school diploma or GED
