Job Summary
Inspect forklifts daily, maintain inspection forms, and ensure hot boxes are operational at shift start. Organize warehousing structures for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods while utilizing Dynamics AX for inventory transactions. Stage raw materials in hot boxes, update white boards, and transfer waste drums to the shed. Transport finished goods to shipping, perform cycle counts, and manage FIFO usage of materials. Label quarantined raw materials requiring testing and clean the warehouse and overstock areas. Routinely work with hazardous chemicals and waste while following site-specific safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Forklift experience on both stand up reach truck and sit down
- Minimum 1 year experience in a production atmosphere – chemical manufacturing
- Must be computer literate and be proficient with all MS Office programs i.e., Word, Excel, PP, etc.
- Must have high attention to detail and have some administrative skills i.e., processing of paperwork, maintaining files, etc.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
- Demonstrated knowledge with ERP/MRP software
- High School Diploma
Desired Qualifications
- previous experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical or food production environment
- prior forklift experience
