Job Summary
Receive, inspect, stage, and organize incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished goods while transporting ingredients and supplies to production areas. Deliver finished pallets from Production to Shipping & Receiving, ensuring accurate documentation, and perform inventory cycle counts to maintain FIFO rotation and precise records. Operate forklifts, electric counterbalance reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely; stack, restack, and rebuild pallets. Clean exterior of containers before production or shipment, operate cardboard baling equipment, and maintain a safe work environment following GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards. Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams. Full-time 1st shift in Lawrence, MA; overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Shipping & Receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift certification (Electric Counterbalance Reach Truck) preferred or the ability to become certified
- Experience operating forklifts, electric counterbalance reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks preferred
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions and warehouse documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately complete inventory and material movement documentation
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety, food safety, and quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to cross-train in other Shipping & Receiving and Production functions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
