Job Summary
Material Handler responsible for shipping, receiving and non-technical inspections of parts and components in a warehouse. Ensure incoming and outgoing goods are in acceptable, regulatory-compliant condition; update receiving information in ERP; support shipment of parts/subassemblies per standards; maintain equipment and work area per safety guidelines; act as gate keeper for inventory, track status of shipments, segregate materials per procedures, and coordinate with freight carriers. Desirable familiarity with UPS/FEDEX software and Hazmat training; 2-5 years shipping/receiving experience expected; forklift and packaging equipment upkeep, 6S methodology, and export paperwork accuracy are part of daily duties.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of warehouse shipping and receiving experience required
- Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirable
- Previous Hazmat training is desirable
