Job Summary
Material Handler operates machining, production, and assembly equipment to produce high-quality parts, with the ability to set up or make minor adjustments to machines. Responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment, following prints and procedures, inspecting materials and products for defects, performing minor machine adjustments and routine maintenance, transporting finished product, updating systems, training others, and supporting continuous improvement teams. Requires reading/writing/speaking English, ability to read blueprints/BOMs, math and measurement tool proficiency, and teamwork in a safety-conscious environment. Minimum education: high school diploma or GED; 2 years of relevant experience with machining or equipment operation; must be able to stand 8 hours and work with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Two years of previous experience operating a variety of machinery or operating specific specialized equipment outside of Milestone
