Job Summary
Material Handler/Inventory Clerk responsible for assembling and routing production materials, loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site; maintain inventory by locating and stocking received material, performing daily cycle counts, and updating inventory records in SAP. Requires 2+ years in warehouse/material handling, 3-5 years forklift/electric powered device operation, forklift safety certification, and HS diploma/GED. Duties include following supervisor schedules, moving materials to meet work orders, loading/unloading onto pallets/trays/racks, manual material lifting, inventory tightening through stock counting and cycle counts, maintaining planning and production reports, and ensuring a clean, safe work area. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years work experience in Warehouse and or Material Handling
- 3-5 years experience with forklift and/or electrical powered devices operation for moving material
- Must complete and pass a forklift safety program prior to performing tasks related to warehouse and ability to obtain certification
- Experience with Inventory Control and Tracking
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Familiar with SAP software
