Job Summary
Prioritize orders and special projects with Operations Management while completing daily tasks. Move steel bar and tube within the facility using forklifts and overhead cranes, maintaining product traceability and reporting deficiencies to supervisors. Assist in organizing material storage systems, perform hardness tests, verify dimensions with a tape measure, and package material for shipment. Participate in inventory cycle counts and year-end audits as needed. Comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate policies. This role supports Kreher Steel's supply of alloy, stainless, and carbon steel tubes for oil and gas applications across North America.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced Material Handler using forklift and/or overhead crane
- Excellent forklift skills
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
