Job Summary
Material Handler / Inspector - Shipping & Receiving at INNIO Group is responsible for the movement and inspection of components for large compression and power generation industrial engines. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, pallet movers, turret-trucks, overhead cranes, and jib cranes; loading/unloading trucks; entering receipts; performing inventory transactions and cycle counts; consolidating picks for assembly/shipping; preparing parts for shipment; shipping via UPS/FedEx/LTL; understanding vendor return policies; reading blueprints and manuals; inspecting part conformance with calipers, gauges, and micrometers; maintaining accuracy, safety, and a clean work area; contributing to continuous improvement. 1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm or 7:00am-3:00pm at the Waukesha, WI facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
- Ability to meet physical demands of handling large industrial engine components
- Ability to lift a maximum weight of 40 lbs
- Industrial fork truck operating experience
