Job Summary
Maintain and move inventory accurately by receiving, stocking, pulling, packaging, labeling, and loading products for customer orders. Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including stacking, arranging, and loading/unloading freight from trucks when assigned to the freezer section. Pull and prepare orders for shipment by labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking while verifying order accuracy in staging lines. Keep the work area clean and orderly to ensure security and safety. Requires ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand walk for long periods of time
- Ability to exert force up to 60 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects
- Ability to read and comprehend labels and packaging
- Constant standing, walking, climbing and stooping
- Frequent bending, twisting and reaching when picking, packing and moving product
- Frequent talking and hearing; use of the electronic headset device and in-person communication
- Frequent use of near and far vision when picking, packing and moving product
- Frequent handling: processing, picking up, sorting and checking in orders, etc
- Often lifting and carrying: 75 pounds or less, depending on assigned location
- Often pushing and pulling: loaded boxes on rollers and cart/dolly
