Material Handler III- Nights (B) - 12 hours - E/O Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7pm-7am

Job Summary
Check vendor accuracy, create bills of lading, and validate cargo for damage while ensuring correct labeling and quality checklists. Handle hazardous materials by reviewing MSDS paperwork, perform kitting and sub-assembly tasks, and fill client orders safely within Crane SOPs. Operate forklifts and high-reach vehicles to load and unload materials, install strapping to prevent transit damage, and scan freight via warehouse management systems. Record units moved on daily production sheets, complete required paperwork, and perform housekeeping to maintain a safe environment. This role requires presence on-site at the assigned work location, adherence to internal quality standards, and participation in the Safety Committee.
Required Qualifications
- Greater than three years' of related experience
- Job requires presence on-site at the assigned work location
- Must be a member of the Safety Committee at least once during the year
- Must be a trainer and exhibit competency in training others
- Must know all accounts and be able to perform every floor function in the branch
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Balances team and individual responsibilities
- Consistently at work and on time
- Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen
- Stand or sit for long periods of time
- Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
- Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand

- This position requires the final candidate to successfully pass an E-Verify Check
