Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment including hand and powered pallet movers, fork trucks, and powered packing equipment to locate, pick, move, and store materials according to established procedures. Use WMS systems to generate pick lists, transport tasks, and create HU pallet labels while maintaining accurate inventory counts and audits. Perform kitting functions by reading production schedules, building pallets per customer specs, and labeling individual cases. Stretch wrap pallets and maintain work areas in an orderly manner while complying with all safety rules and reporting faulty equipment or unusual conditions. Requires 2-5 years of warehouse experience operating forklifts and power jacks, with a first shift Monday-Friday schedule and $21.75 hourly pay plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- 2-5 years warehouse experience
- 2-5 years of experience operating a forklift
- 2-5 years of experience operating a power jack
- 2-5 years of experience operating a riding jack
- Obtain and maintain proper training for powered industrial trucks
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to more than 50 pounds with assistance
- Employees need to be able to stand for 8-10 hours
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using a scanning gun
- Experience using WMS system
- Experience loading and unloading 53-foot trailers and box trucks
- Experience and understanding of BIN transfers
- Inventory Control experience
- Good Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to add, multiply, and divide
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to cross-train in other departments
