Job Summary
Operate various powered industrial trucks, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts, to pick customer orders and convey them to packing or shipping areas. Assemble orders from stock using order picker equipment or stand-up forklifts, verify stock availability, and audit orders for accuracy within the Warehouse Management System. Monitor equipment and processes, report issues to a supervisor, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to standard operating procedures. This role requires a certified forklift operator with at least three years of distribution experience, working the first shift from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator
- 3 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience
- minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience
- Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks
- Ability to understand and speak basic English
- Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner
- Must be able to stand
