Job Summary
The Material Handler II is responsible for safely filling client orders, ensuring compliance with internal quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment. Essential tasks include loading and unloading materials, cross-checking vendor accuracy, and maintaining accurate records of materials handled. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED, have over a year of related experience, and must obtain forklift certification within 90 days of hire. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Greater than one-year of related experience
- Forklift certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and comprehend basic documents
Additional Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing
- Requires successful completion of an E-Verify Check
