Job Summary
Receiving, picking, packaging, and shipping materials while operating DC equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks to maintain a continuous supply chain flow. Perform physical inventories and manage receipt, storage, and inventory control at the Franklin distribution facility. Execute machine, assembly, and other duties as assigned by the DC Supervisor. Requires proficiency in scanner operation, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to all safety protocols and personnel policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in materials handling or warehouse operations
- Proficient math skills
- Basic computer skills for performing inventory transactions
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Physical capability to occasionally stand, sit, use hands to handle, feel, and lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to pass a pre-hire drug test, including for marijuana
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor
- Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses
- Fork and/or Reach truck operations
