Job Summary
Sign off bills of lading, cross-check packing lists, and load/unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Scan freight via warehouse management systems with RF equipment, count and weigh units, attach labels, and complete daily production sheets. Ensure distribution activities follow internal quality standards and Crane SOPs while maintaining a safe work environment through housekeeping and cargo inspection. Perform duties on-site during the third shift, obtaining forklift certification within 90 days of hire. Join a leader in logistics to support client orders and distribution activities.
Required Qualifications
- Greater than one-year of related experience
- Forklift certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand
- Ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Balances team and individual responsibilities
- Consistently at work and on time
- Job requires presence on-site at the assigned work location

- This position requires the final candidate to successfully pass an E-Verify Check
