Job Summary

Prepare and kit materials for production departments by safely carrying out warehouse processes, including receiving, filling orders, and staging incoming and outgoing materials. Operate tools such as handheld scanners, tape guns, pallet jacks, and forklifts while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instruction Documents, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices. Maintain accurate inventory in designated locations, ensure work areas remain safe and organized, and cooperate with upstream and downstream departments to implement inspections and correct quality errors. Prepare material movement documentation, update the Oracle system, and actively participate in Practical Process Improvements, Lean, and Continuous Improvement activities. Work standard hours Monday through Friday, focusing on team collaboration and mentoring co-workers.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
  • Ability to operate Powered Industrial Equipment including various fork-lifts, scissor lifts, and other similar equipment or become certified through company training
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced regulated warehouse environment up to 12 hours a day with additional overtime when necessary
  • Ability to infrequently lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to stand, bend, or twist for extended periods of time, and move about the Warehouse areas as needed
  • Ability to work with both hands to lift, handle, and manipulate inventory items
  • Ability to read and understand written materials that include words, pictures, and numbers
  • Must be able to work with small hand tools like scanners and tape guns and some powered equipment
  • Ability to kit, count, and package small inventory items for production
  • Ability to safely carry out the warehouse process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID), and work orders
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
  • Standing for full shift
  • Working at heights

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts)
  • General understanding of PPE, MSDS's and ERG
  • Experience in using SAP, MS Excel, MS Word
  • Inventory control experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Team Player
