Job Summary
Inspect, receive, sort, and ship component parts and equipment while verifying shipments against receiving documents and reporting any damages immediately. Unload palletized goods and single carton deliveries, then prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Pull orders, verify type and quantity of ordered items, and ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications before delivery. Maintain accurate inventory records, perform housekeeping activities, and execute all tasks designated to Material Handlers I using basic RF equipment knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders safely
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Clear knowledge of computer systems
- Ability to think creatively/spatially
- Ability to maintain stamina for long hours of standing, stooping, bending
- Ability to establish and maintain quality and quantity standards
